"Celebrations will be the CGS fun Exhibition at the International Festival of Glass in 2017 as part of our 20th Anniversary. 138 CGS members have made a piece of glass celebrating an event of special importance - however big or small.  All work is for sale and could be the perfect present you are looking for to mark your own special occasion."

CELEBRATIONS aim to be even more successful than our 2015 Festival Exhibition “Wish You Were Here”, when over 80 glass postcards sold.

This is a fundraising exhibition and all proceeds will go towards future CGS events and the International Festival of Glass

Show opens 4pm Friday 25th August

There will be prizes sponsored by Mark Holford & Alan J Poole

High End Magazine

After featuring on the emerging talent section of Very First To My work was published in High End Magazine.

"Made from shards of transparent, clear, bullseye glass, this sculptural art bowl was created by artist Naomi Jacques. “This piece in particular depicts an evocative balance between fragility and strength. I wanted to create something that celebrates a beauty that can often only be found resurfacing from darkness,” says Jacques. Although the bowl appears precarious to handle due to its blend of glass pieces, a process Jacques calls “glass frit fusion” that took several years to master, she explains it to be “very tactile and can be held delicately, but it definitely will not cut you.” Likened to a sheet of raw-cut diamond by viewers, Jacques imagines her piece to function as a “conversation appetizer, a thought-provoking creation that people can talk about and reflect upon its meaning."
