We are happy to be able to bring kiln-formed glass workshops to individuals, groups, businesses, schools and pleasure classes. 

Private party bookings for hen parties, baby showers, birthday parties, schools, and corporate events. We can come to you at your venue or we can book and arrange a local venue! Prices vary depending on what you want to make so we offer a custom price package upon asking.

Children/ teens can also work with glass - you know your child best if they can follow instructions sensibly they can take part. A parent/responsible adult is required to supervise during your child's session if under 12. Children as young as 6 years have made glass pendants at our workshops. 

Look out for themed workshops ideal for children, especially around Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day. 

Work made on these workshops will be taken back to Naomi’s studio and fired in her kiln. Your work is expected to be ready for collection (or can be posted for an extra charge) within two weeks of the workshop you attended.

All the workshops include all the glass, glass materials, metals, tuition, firing costs, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - such as gloves, mask, and goggles) and light refreshments. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Below is an overview of some of the workshops available;

Introduction to Fused Glass - trialling with clear, white and black glass bases with opal, translucent glass frits, stringers to add colour. Metal Inclusions can also be explored within this session. This is a very experimental workshop where you will learn what does what and why. Glass is a very different material to work with most other materials. This is a brilliant workshop for those who want to learn about fused glass who have little or no experience. I will delve into technical as well as creative information.

The jewellery/pendant making workshop includes enough glass to make a minimum of three pieces. Each piece you will be given the option to have a silver-plated bail added to your piece after firing or add yourself a handmade silver hook into the glass. We provide a standard 16-18” silver chain. We use Bullseye® glass and accessories for these sessions. Jewellery making usually lasts for 2 hour session suitable for parties, hen, baby showers, corporate events, and team building etc. 

Glass inclusions workshops cover the use of coloured glass, frits (grains of glass in various sizes), stringers (spaghetti-like lengths of glass strings), as well as adding metals and foils (Copper, aluminium, gold and silver flakes). Previously made examples are available to view on the day and we will discuss the differences and how the firing process affects the glass. Designs will be discussed during the demonstrations, clients can design their own work and use examples and photographs to help them create their own work.

Onlay - adding colour to sheet glass to create hanging decorations, or framable pieces, using stringers, frits, beads and sheet glass these are light in weight - ideal for hanging. Designs will be discussed during the demonstrations, clients can design their own work and use examples and photographs to help them create their own work. Works made in this way are tactile after firing and lightweight, ideal for hanging decorations.

If you have a brief you would like to fulfil for your staff such as team building, staff development, or just for fun.
