BBC Bitesize is aiming to visit approx. 60,000 students over 8 weeks (Oct-Dec) in the Midlands to talk about careers in Innovation. Each 45min session is led by a BBC presenter, who speaks to three professionals from the local area about their career path covering topics such as; relevant qualifications, personal anecdotes about successes and failures, advice on work experience, and key soft skills for the workplace.
They have asked me to be involved and I am keen to help and support their efforts from the side of creative industries.
I will be visiting three Midlands Schools and answering any industry questions that I can to help inspire the next generation of makers, thinkers and innovators.
